Every year, over 19,000 Australians are diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. For many of these people, a clinical trial will be the only way they can access the newest and potentially life-saving treatments for their blood cancer.
Medical research and clinical trials are critical to test and advance new treatments to help cure blood cancer once and for all. Simply, clinical trials are the basis for every new cancer treatment available to patients.
ALLG’s mission is to design, develop and deliver clinical trials that create better treatments and better lives for patients living with blood cancers. We are the only collaborative clinical trial group for blood cancers in Australasia and our clinician researchers lead the way for blood cancer patients to access the newest and promising treatments from around the world, right here in Australia.
Currently, more than 1000 clinicians and scientists contribute to ALLG research. ALLG researchers play a pivotal role in influencing blood cancer treatment practice worldwide and improving treatments and outcomes for people with blood cancers.
The ALLG receives no ongoing funding and relies on the support of individuals and organisations to conduct our critical clinical research. Your donation or fundraising event will help ALLG and our members advance treatments that create world of difference for patients and their families, while aiming for a cure.

$100: supports patient data management collection procedures for clinical trials to advance research
$350: supports essential genomic tests that are used to detect disease relapse in patients and enable them to receive better treatments
