53 Australians are diagnosed with blood cancer each day, joining more than 135,000 people living with the devastating impact of one of Australia’s most diagnosed cancers.
A range of things affect someone’s chance of surviving blood cancer and it can be incurable. Sadly, another 16 Australians will lose their life to blood cancer each and every day.
$53: ensures that a Blood Cancer Support Coordinator is by the side of a newly diagnosed patient to help navigate those first scary moments.
$120: can purchase lab equipment to help ensure blood cancer researchers uncover better treatments, and one day – a cure.
$560: could help provide a week of accommodation for a family that has to relocate from a regional or rural area to be closer to life-saving blood cancer treatment for their loved one.
