Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA) supports women, men and families across Australia to recover from perinatal anxiety and depression, a serious illness that affects around 100,000 Australian families every year. Perinatal anxiety and depression is common, has many faces and does not discriminate – it can affect anyone, and have devastating consequences for individuals and families if left untreated. PANDA runs Australia’s only National Helpline that supports expecting and new mums and dads affected by anxiety and depression, and also works to raise awareness in the community, including the signs to look for and where to go to seek support.
$80: could provide an additional one hour’s counselling and support through PANDA’s National Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Helpline. An hour that could be the turning point for a new mum or dad.
$250: could help an expecting or new mum or dad through several sessions and see them well and truly on their way towards recovery.
$1000: could make a huge impact by helping PANDA reach expecting and new mums in communities all over Australia so they know to watch out for this potentially devastating illness and what to do if affected.
